Dal Tadka Recipe
It doesn’t matter if you are Tamilian or Gujrati, everyone uses the Whole Chilli to give tadka to various special Indian dishes. Dal Tadka is the most famous Indian dish that is prepared with the Tadka of Chili or Chili powder.
Cook Toor Dal until it is properly cooked with the proper amount of water, salt and turmeric powder. In a small pan, heat a tablespoon of desi ghee. Put this Whole Chilli and let it turn brown, put some cumin seeds and let it crackle. Finally, add the diced onion and green chilly. Fry the onions till they turn translucent, and then add diced tomato. Once the tomato is cooked, add the cooked dal. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with jeera rice or roti.
